BILL GULLO (Screenplay): Primarily a screenwriter, Bill’s creative work also includes directing and producing, as well as fiction and lyric writing. He develops original material for film, television, and the web while collaborating with producers and directors on both coasts. He wrote the screenplay for NYTimes Critics’ Pick +1 (aka Plus One), directed by Dennis Iliadis, and his feature screenplay, The Quitter, directed by Matthew Bonifacio, will premiere in theaters in September 2014. Bill has been selected for Hollywood’s prestigious Black List, named a Quarterfinalist for the Nicholl Fellowship, and was unanimously awarded the Best Screenplay Award at the IFP Market in New York City. His short films have screened at Palm Springs Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and Aspen Shortsfest. He also wrote, directed, and produced You Again (a Musical about Cloning) at The New York International Fringe Festival. His original psychological thriller, Bastard, is currently in development with producers Annie Marter and Jordan Horowitz. His original comedy web series, Couples, will launch in the Fall of 2014. Additionally, he serves as an ongoing creative consultant to emerging and aspiring writers everywhere. Bill is currently based in Brooklyn and represented in Los Angeles.
